These are alright… I like them better than the bags, but I noticed that after only a few uses the numbers on the side wore off :( Now I can’t tell how many ounces I have unless I poor it into another bottle.

I’ve never put these in the dishwasher and only use them while pumping (don’t use them for feeding or milk storage) and the numbers wear off after just a few uses. I’m quite disappointed since I need to know how many ounces I’m pumping at work. Not to mention, they charge an arm and a leg to ship to Alaska!

I love these bottles! but also dislike that the numbers have worn off so fast. I need to know how much she is taking in because she has had trouble with weight gain. I have never put them in a dishwasher and I only use a soft sponge, never anything abrasive. I exclusively pump for my 2 month old daughter and the nipple is perfect for her. All the other slow flow nipples she chokes on, this one is truly slow flow.

We’ve heard of the numbers rubbing off from other moms recently and we’re working to correct the issue. We’re very sorry!

I love my Hygeia items but unfortunately have to agree with the previous posters. The number wore off after about 15 uses and I have never put them in the dishwasher – only warm water with dawn soap. I used a Sharpie to mark where I thought the lines were but even that wears off and it’s inaccurate. I bring my Tommee Tippee bottles to work with me to put milk in for daycare the next day but if he has enough fresh milk, I want to know how many ounces are in the Hygeia bottles, without having to transfer to the TT bottle, to transfer to a bag to freeze. That’s one more thing I have to wash. I also wish the flanges were compatible with TT bottles… It would make it a lot easier to not only already have milk in the bottle used but not have the numbers wear off. Please don’t hate me Hygeia! I love your products.. Just not the containers!

We agree, the ink wears off too fast. We’re working on that the next time we make more. Even the Sharpie wears off, so it’s hard to find something that stays on our BPA-free plastic well, but we’ll keep trying! You can use the Tommee Tippee adapter ring with our adapter ring, though. A mom just told us she does it all the time, so we’re going to try to get a picture of it. : )

Disappointing. I agree with other previous posters about the numbers wearing off after only a few uses. However, the ounce measurements happen to be completely wrong on my Hygeia bottles. When I pump into the Hygeia bottles it always tells me that there is MORE milk than what there really is in the bottle (by about a 1/2 an ounce). It’s so frustrating because it is really misleading and sad! I’ll pour milk from the Hygeia bottle into an Avent one and it’ll go from 4 ounces to 3.5 or a little under. (I’ve also used other brands Dr. Browns, Tommee Tippee and Born Free-which all are consistent with the Avent measurement). So while it’s annoying that the numbers wear off… it’s not like they were correct to begin with in the first place.

I LOVE my pump but do not like the bottles. First off the numbers rub off very quickly and secondly they are not accurate. (When I could see the numbers) I was so disapointed to find out that they are about a 1/2 oz off.
